Before Vesper, Gehrman worked as a Data and Market Analyst covering grains and vegetable oils at AlmaStone in London, where he led the evaluation of an 8 million dollar working-capital facility for a Ukrainian sunflower oil producer, and as a shipping consultant. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Maritime Business and Maritime Law from the University of Plymouth, and builds much of his analysis on Python and SQL workflows.
