Is my purchase data visible to other Vesper users?
No. Your data is fully siloed to your account. No other user, organisation, or Vesper team member has access to your uploaded prices. Your data is also never used in benchmarks, indexes, or any aggregated outputs.
How do I upload my price data?
You can add prices manually by typing them directly into Vesper, or bulk-upload historical data via CSV. The CSV format is straightforward: product, price, date, and optional notes. Most users can upload a full year of purchase history in under five minutes.
What can I do with my data once it's uploaded?
Once uploaded, your prices appear as a series on any Vesper chart, sitting alongside independent benchmarks for instant comparison. You can feed your prices into Cost Models, generate spreads against market indices, add notes and annotations, and export visuals for reports. Your data becomes a live input across the whole platform.
Can I upload data going back several years?
Yes. There is no time limit on historical uploads. Many teams upload two to five years of purchase history on first setup, then add new prices on a rolling basis. The further back you go, the more clearly you can see long-term patterns in your buying performance versus the market.
Can I delete my data if I leave Vesper?
Yes. You can delete individual price points, specific date ranges, or your entire upload history at any time. If you close your Vesper account, all your uploaded data is permanently deleted. There are no retention requirements.
