Improvement updates — Vesper Release Notes

Custom colours and line indicators in price charts

Pick the colour and indicator shape for each product in the Prices and Forecast prices widgets, and keep the same look across your whole dashboard if you want.

Live energy costs in cost models

The energy line in your cost model can now follow a live market benchmark, TTF natural gas by default, so your cost breakdown moves when energy prices do.

Cost model management

Cost models now have their own pages in Vesper, can be reused inside other cost models, and can be exported as an image for a supplier meeting or a finance review.

Custom date ranges on graph widgets, and QoQ in Prices

Set your own start and end date on graph widgets with the new calendar button, and see quarter-on-quarter price change in the Prices widget.

Follow-up questions in Commodity Copilot

Commodity Copilot now suggests clickable follow-up questions after each answer, so you can keep exploring the market without typing a new prompt every time.

Search improvements: clearer ranking and save from Preview

Search results now follow a clear hierarchy, exact matches first, then broad, then loose, and you can add a price to your dashboard straight from the Preview page.

July dashboard updates

Five improvements: a new product selector on every widget, sortable dashboards, specs and sources in the Forecast widget, notes on any price graph, and editable widget and dashboard names.

Latin species names for Fish and Seafood

Scientific names are now on all 2,000+ Undercurrent Fish and Seafood products, searchable and shown in the product descriptions.

Charts in Commodity Copilot answers

Commodity Copilot now shows a chart next to its written answer, so you can see the price picture behind the commentary and read it at a glance.

Faster Prices widget loading

We optimised loading time for the Prices widget. One or two series feel almost instant, and even ten years of data loads fast.

Per-product unit settings in the Prices widget

Set currency, weight, and volume units per product in the Prices widget, so US bushels and other product-specific conventions sit on the same chart as everything else you track.

Resize and reorder dashboard widgets

Full-width widgets are back, and you can now resize and reorder widgets with drag-and-drop straight from the dashboard. A new Edit button shows S, M, and L size options and a drag handle.

Prices and price comparison in one widget

Prices and price comparison now live in one widget. A toggle switches between grouped current prices and ungrouped comparison views, so you can spot patterns and outliers without adding a second widget.

Improved product search

We rebuilt the indexing behind product search, so the Search modal and the product dropdown surface the right product when you type something like butter, palm oil, or cocoa.

Commodity Copilot available from every dashboard

Commodity Copilot is now accessible from any dashboard through a side panel. Ask questions as you work with your data.

Consolidated Import/Export, Supply & Demand, and Futures Widgets

Import/Export, Supply & Demand, and Futures widgets each had multiple versions for different views of the same data.

New: Deselect All Button

Clear your widget selections instantly with the new "Deselect all" button in dropdown menus.
