September opened with Commodity Agent, which lets you ask Vesper from the AI tools your team already uses. Inside the platform, the energy line in your cost model can now follow a live benchmark, charts take your own colours, and search flags the popular choice of source for each product. On the data side, 438 new prices landed across 15 commodities and 46 countries.
What shipped:
- Commodity Agent. Ask Vesper from the AI tools your team already works in. Sign in with your Vesper account, ask why a price moved or hand off a market summary, and the answer comes back built on verified Vesper data, with the source behind each number. Read the Commodity Agent launch note.
- Live energy costs in cost models. Link the energy line to a market benchmark (TTF natural gas by default), set the kWh that goes into one unit, and Vesper recalculates the cost every month. The Change column shows how energy moved month on month, quarter on quarter and year on year.
- Your colours on your charts. In the Prices and Forecast prices widgets, set the colour and indicator shape (circle, square or triangle) for each product, and keep the same look across your dashboard if you want.
- Popular choice sources. Across all products, Vesper now flags the popular choice of source for a product, so it is easier to decide which one to use.
- Stocks-to-use in the Supply & Demand table. A new column shows ending stocks as a share of consumption, starting with global cocoa data from ICCO.
- Also new: product names in Copilot answers are clickable and zoom the chart to that line, you can add notes to the historical price line in the Forecast widget, and Packtrax packaging reports no longer need a separate user role; a Packaging seat is enough.
Data added:
- 438 new prices in September, across 15 commodities and 46 countries.
