Summary: Commodity Agent is now available. It brings Vesper’s answers into the AI tools your team already works in, over a connection you sign in to with your Vesper account.
What it is:
Copilot works with you on the platform; the Agent works for you when you are not there. You ask Vesper from your own AI tool, and the answer comes back built on verified Vesper data.
What you can do with it:
- Get sourced market answers. Ask why a price moved or what the outlook is. Answers show where the data comes from: the data series behind each number, and for analysis, links back into Vesper.
- Hand off research and drafting. Ask it to summarize what moved dairy this week and why, then ask it to draft a short market update from that. It keeps the thread, so the draft builds on the research.
- Combine Vesper with what your AI tools already know. Your AI tools may already be connected to your ERP, your email, your contracts or your own price lists. Put Vesper next to them and ask across all of it: compare a supplier quote in your inbox with the benchmark, or check your purchase history against where the market went.
- Build cost models in your Vesper account. Ask from your own AI tool and it composes the model, flags the choices it made, and asks you to confirm before it saves. The finished model shows up on your dashboard.
How it connects:
Commodity Agent connects over MCP, an open standard that compatible AI tools use to talk to Vesper. You sign in with your Vesper account, and access follows what your account already has. Your AI never touches the Vesper database: the question goes to Vesper, and the answer comes back.
