May put Commodity Copilot to work. Answers now come with the chart behind them, every user can build a cost model straight from the chat, and Reuters articles arrived on the platform alongside 1,258 new price series.
What shipped:
- Copilot answers with charts. Ask about prices, forecasts, production, or trade flows, and every answer now comes with an interactive graph, so you get the answer and see the move.
- Cost Model Builder from a product URL. Paste a URL and the builder reads the ingredients, their proportions, and the units to draft the breakdown for you. Adjust it in the chat and it saves to your cost model widget.
- Commodity Copilot on every plan: 3 Copilot conversations a month plus Bring Your Own Data (BYOD) for all users.
- Per-product units in the Prices widget: set currency, weight, or volume for each product individually through the dotted menu behind a price.
- Faster Prices widget, especially on large and 10-year data pulls.
Data added:
- 1,258 new price series in May.
- 746 Fish & Seafood: Japanese (Toyosu) and French (Rungis) wholesale via Undercurrent (BYOL), plus a new Seaweed group. The second batch completes the Undercurrent integration.
- 184 Meat & Poultry: plant-level cattle prices from around 30 named Irish plants, plus Polish farm-gate.
- 276 series from Mercamadrid, a first feed from one of Europe’s largest fresh-produce markets: fruit, vegetables, herbs, nuts, and eggs.
Partnerships and reports:
- Reuters is now on Vesper. Reuters articles appear directly on the platform, clearly labelled, covering Beverages, Cocoa, Energy & Transport, Fertilizers, Grains & Feed, Meat & Poultry, Oils & Fats, and Sugar.
- 3 new market reports: US Beef (monthly, written for Vesper by Adam J. Speck), US Eggs (monthly, from LEAP), and Coconut (monthly, from AgriPulse, focused on Southeast Asian origins).
