Macro Economics is now a category on Vesper, in three parts.
What’s new:
- Macro indices: 146 European CPI and PPI indicators. EU27 is live now, with the US coming in Q2. You find them in the Prices widget.
- Macro news: coverage of the key economic developments that move markets.
- Macro market analysis: a deeper read on what those developments mean.
Why this matters: The forces behind a commodity price often sit outside your supply and demand view. Macro Economics brings them in. The indicators give you the numbers, and the news and market analysis surface whatever is moving your commodity that the fundamentals miss. You read the wider economic picture next to your prices, so you can time a buy or back up a decision with more than the commodity curve.
How to use it:
- Add the macro indices to a dashboard from the Prices widget.
- Read Macro news and Macro market analysis alongside your commodity coverage.
