Product translation status
Every row in src/i18n/product-names.json, the canonical glossary that governs how1,922 product names render across German, Spanish, French, Polish, Mandarin (Simplified), Dutch, Italian, Greek and Brazilian Portuguese. Computed fresh from the glossary on every build, so it never drifts out of sync with the repo.
How to read the statuses
- Locked
- Approved and cited: the rendering carries real trade-source evidence (a URL and a quote).
- Proposed
- A rendering has been drafted but the citation or final call is still open.
- Missing
- No entry exists for this locale yet.
"Locked" is the status field, which is what the build ratchet enforces. It is not the same number as "cited" (at least one evidence entry with a url and a quote): hundreds of early de/es/fr entries carry citations whose status was never flipped, and a locale entry with no status of its own inherits a row-level lock it never earned. Each language card below shows both numbers, plus the drift between them, so neither can hide. Neither means "reviewed by a native speaker": that is a third bar, tracked in NATIVE-REVIEW-LISTS.md, and it currently reads zero. Those lists cover five locales (de, es, fr, pl, zh-hans), nl/it/el/pt-br have no list at all, and no reviewer has returned a verdict on any of them yet.

Read the "missing" number with its rule. A missing entry on a rule: keep row is correct, not a gap: tokens like ICE, EXW, WPC80 and AMF stay identical in every language, so there is nothing to record. Only a missing entry on arule: translate row is real work. Right now every missing entry across all 9 languages is a keep-rule row, so the translate backlog is empty.
