To ensure the security of the country’s butter supply Turkey has stopped their butter exports. The ban applies to the butter product under the HS code: 040510. The decision was made by Turkey’s ministerial office on 13-04-2022. The ban on butter export will stay until further notice. The exception countries are North Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Palestine. The exception also applies to butter exports under the “Internal Processing Regime” system of Turkey.
