What we expect from this role 

We’re looking for someone who balances a strategic mindset with a drive for growth. You will be the CEO of your portfolio, able to support the adoption of the Vesper platform by showing our customers how to be successful with it and able to grow the revenue of your portfolio by developing expansion opportunities.

You are a strong team player, contributing to the team target and enjoy collaborating with other teams to continuously improve the experience of our customers in and outside our platform.

More than online calls, you will be visiting strategic accounts,  occasionally attending trade shows and events.

You are curious about the needs and goals of your customers and translate them into workflows and platform training to ensure maximum adoption and retention.

What you will be doing

  • Build strong client relationships by proactively managing the entire customer lifecycle: from onboarding to adoption, through to renewal and expansion
  • Uncover expansion opportunities by being curious and having a hunger to understand the workflows of our customers deeply
  • Empower customers to achieve maximum return on investment through data-driven decision-making. You won’t need to be a commodity consultant but you will need to have an extensive understanding of our platform and, beyond that a deep knowledge of how our customers can best extract value based on their core needs
  • Ensure customers have a solid understanding of what Vesper can do for them, are always up to date with our newest innovation and showcase Vesper as an essential part of their workflow
  • Ask the right questions, be curious – and listen. Gather valuable feedback from our customers and work closely with our product team to ensure this is fed back into the business effectively to help steer our roadmap

What you will bring

  • 1/2 years experience as a Customer Success Manager/ Account Executive, or experience in the fields of procurement / trading.
  • Fluent in French and English is a must, any other language is a huge bonus as we work globally.
  • A strong commercial mindset. What do we actually mean by this? You can understand how our customers’ businesses work, and how they make money. You have experience negotiating value – and you actually enjoy the idea of selling something
  • You are comfortable looking at and using data to inform your priorities 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where some processes exist and others we are building, you learn new things quickly and and can adapt as our proposition evolves 
  • An effective collaborator; supportive of other team members in their success
