Vesper is excited to announce a partnership with the Daily Dairy Report, a trusted news platform that brings dairy industry news and analysis to your inbox. We’ve partnered with the Daily Dairy Report to bring you a monthly analysis tailored specifically to the US dairy market. Our monthly report aims to help drive more informed decision-making by providing a concise analysis of price, production, and supply in the US market, broken down by product.
Drawing from their extensive background in dairy economics, risk management, policy analysis, and dairy production, the Daily Dairy Report team offers timely perspectives on the dairy markets and trading. Additionally, they provide in-depth analysis of government price, production, and supply reports.
Sarina Sharp, the author of Vesper’s monthly Daily Dairy Report market analyses, boasts a decade of experience in risk management for feed, milk, and beef within her family’s dairy operations, based in the Midwest. She graduated with honours from Covenant College, majoring in Business with a specialisation in Accounting and Finance, complemented by an English Minor.
Following her college education, Sarina obtained her Series III certification and started a career as a commodity broker and research analyst at the Nesvick Trading Group in Memphis, Tennessee. At Nesvick she advised farmer clients and published reports centred on commodity market news and fundamentals, particularly on the grain, oilseeds, and beef markets. For the last ten years, Sarina has worked for dairy producers across the nation, advising them on strategies to protect their milk and beef revenue and reduce their feed costs.
Much like the Daily Dairy Report, we recognise that you may not always have the time to delve deeply into analyses and often need to make split-second decisions. In addition to providing concise market insights, our shared goal is to “connect the dots”. As Sarina puts it “The U.S. dairy markets are always moving, seeking prices that balance milk and dairy product supplies with consumer demand. I love to explore the reasons behind the trends, helping clients determine where prices might be going next.”
