May milk production in the EU-27 was up 0.8%, according to the European Commission. May deliveries were up 4.0% in Ireland, up 2.5% in Italy, up 2.3% in Belgium and up 1.8% in Poland and Spain. Dutch deliveries were up 1.8%, Germany was unchanged from last year, and France was down 1.6%. Total production in the first five months of 2022 was down 0.8%, with only eight member states, including Austria, Poland, Belgium and Denmark, showing increases.
