As our new People Generalist, you support the implementation of our People strategy and serve as a point of contact for employees and management by providing expertise and support in various HR areas. Together with the team, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various HR processes.

What you will do 

  • Advise and support the People team in decision-making related to people management issues and ensuring compliance with processes related to HR. Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to our HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and advice to employees on HR policies and procedures. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of various HR processes
  • Analyze People processes to identify trends and areas for improvement, and discuss with the team action plans to address them.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new hires
  • Assist the team with rolling out performance management cycles
  • Monitor our People tooling and metrics
  • Partner directly and effectively with other  members of the People team to help drive appropriate People initiatives

What you will bring 

  • Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken
  • Experience and knowledge of Dutch labour law and regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.  
  • Years of experience – 2 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities 
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to take ownership, work independently and be responsible and accountable
  • Able to adjust, evolve, or change in response to new circumstances
  • Integrity and ethical conduct
  • Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
