As our new People Business Partner, you will help us execute key People initiatives that aligns with the company’s goals and support its growth. You will act as a trusted advisor and an expert in HR and Labour law and support middle management on People related topics. 

What you will be doing

  • Collaboration with Management: advise and support the MT in decision-making related to people management issues and ensuring compliance with processes related to HR
  • People strategy: ensure the execution of the People strategy and implement key initiatives
  • Learning and Talent Development: cooperate with the team managers to roll out a high-quality onboarding and training  program. Active involvment in building and implementing our learning curriculum.
  • Performance management: provide tailored professional development and include goal setting, performance reviews, and growth plans. Conduct check-ins with Managers and bi-annual reviews with them
  • People metrics and analysis: analyze People processes to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
  • Compensation and Benefits: lead the implementation and management of Vesper compensation and benefits strategy
  • Compliance: provide guidance and advice to managers on HR policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Coaching: support and develop our people managers to  address complex and sensitive day-to-day issues
  • Mediation: manage employee relations issues, and provide guidance and advice on conflict resolution and employee discipline.
  • Teamwork: partner directly and effectively with other members of the People team to help drive appropriate People initiatives and provide ideas and suggestions for further development and growth of the People function.

What you will bring

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in diverse HR disciplines, including talent development, performance management, employee relations, organisational development, and culture.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM or similar
  • Experience and knowledge of Dutch labour law and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in partnering with managers and business leaders
  • Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
  • Able to take ownership, work independently and be responsible and accountable
  • Ability to adjust, evolve, or change in response to new circumstances, 
  • Project management experience: ensuring that tasks, projects or services are met in time and by predefined standards 
  • Passion for people and collaborative way of working
  • Trustworthy and encourage others to take risks
  • Open minded and enjoy working with people from other cultures and respects cultural differences
