As a Business Development Representative at Vesper, you’ll be responsible for expanding our user base all over the world. How do you do this? That’s your own responsibility. Of course, we have guidelines and targets but you won’t be monitored on the number of calls per day.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting our Enterprise Sales Team by ensuring our CRM (HubSpot) is always full of prospects and leads
  • Engaging with existing and potential customers to gain market information and leads, market mapping via LinkedIn or other sources and leads you get from your commercial colleagues
  • Doing face-to-face (online) discovery meetings, to uncover the compelling event but more importantly, relevant pain points of procurement teams within Enterprise FMCG and Retail companies, with the end goal of presenting real sales opportunities to the Enterprise Account Executives
  • Hyper personalized emailing and cold calling to kick-start the conversation about Vesper are part of the job
  • Converting leads and prospects into champions
  • Working closely together with our Customer Success team, Enterprise Account Executives, and Key Account Management Team
  • Hitting your targets, but how you reach them is your own responsibility
  • Having extensive knowledge of our platform and its capabilities – you’ll know it inside and out!


What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, preferably in SaaS
  • Experience with the SPICED and/or MEDDIC sales methodology is a plus
  • Good listening, analytical, negotiating, and social skills
  • Preparation and attention to detail are crucial
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Any other language is welcome
  • Proactive team player with excellent communication, listening, and organisational skills
  • Eager to learn and develop yourself and others around you
  • Keen interest in the startup ecosystem, or experience working at a startup
